It’s hard to believe that it has already been nine months since the publication of Beyond Blue and White. What began as the rediscovery of Delftware hidden inside a Manhattan townhouse has grown into an extraordinary journey of lectures, conversations, podcasts, radio shows, museum visits, and new friendships across the United States, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
Over the past months, I’ve had the privilege of speaking everywhere from historic museums and libraries to antique shows, bookshops, and private clubs — sharing the remarkable stories of the women, collectors, artists, and entrepreneurs who shaped the history of Delftware and blue-and-white ceramics.
I’m especially grateful for the wonderful response from so many different worlds: the museum and academic community, the decorative arts and design world, collectors, historians, contemporary artists, and readers who simply love blue and white and the stories these objects carry with them.
For those who may have missed recent events, many lectures, podcasts, interviews, and radio conversations are now available online to watch and listen to.
